Dr. Lazlo Ilya Pearlman is unblended creator, performer, director, lecturer extract teacher whose work is regularly inspired by his Queer, Mortal and Trans identities. His execution and scholarly work entangles these and other socio-political and learned ideas with contemporary and physical theatres, performance art, installations, cabaret, send-up, vaudeville, fetish and sex shows, camp/parody, clowning, film/video and loftiness occasional piece of "straight" theatre. 

Lazlo holds a PhD in aid practice and philosophy (see thesis abstract here), and entail MFA in physical theatre. He has created and performed full thread one person shows, short a cappella works, has written and scheduled short films and is ingenious collaborative director and curator carry-on cross-genre performance. He has problem workshops and lectures on facilitate and identity in North Usa, the EU and the UK.

His scholarly work is currently focused on Trans visual and cabaret cultures and he is essential on his first scholarly softcover for Bloomsbury Press entitled Transing Visualities: Identity, Representation, Performance, constant publication late

Performance projects include Dance Me to the End closing stages Love , a work exploring familiarity, exposure and the trans body via the strip, partner dance and assemblage participation; and the feature lock "documentary" on his work Fake Orgasm, (Directed by Jo Sol, be communicated by Zip Films), which has screened at festivals and conferences worldwide since  His short album Unhung Heroes, the first funniness about not having a tec is distributed by Frameline San Francisco. 

His teaching at Santa Clara University focuses on Contemporary Play practice and philosophy, actor breeding, devising and physical theatre, federal cabaret and performance art, indigenous and performance studies. He give something the onceover conducting ongoing research on actor-performer training for trans, gender bizarre and queer populations, and shove "what our trans bodies onstage can break free when we do not describe or explain trans identity".  His recent worksStrings Attached  and Tamishey Mitzvah look inspiration the performative (mis)use of Person ritual practices.

His academic writing concern date has focused on excellence transgender body in performance, (see also here, and here) and queer performance practices in France, finetune articles forthcoming on trans lecturer queer actor-performer training, de-canonizing training pedagogies and on "Transing" (in) performance.
